Haus der Bayrischen Landwirtschaft, Herrsching am Ammersee

From September 17–19, 2024, the joint international symposium "The Different Facets of Guanine Nucleotide Signaling" was held at the House of Bavarian Agriculture in Herrsching at lake Ammersee . The event, organized by the Research Training Groups (RTG) 2816 and 2381 funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG), combined outstanding scientific presentations with valuable scientific exchange and networking opportunities for young scientists with distinguished speakers from Europe and the USA.

The scientific focus of both RTGs centers on guanine nucleotide signaling pathways. RTG 2816, Non-canonical G Protein Signaling Pathways: Mechanisms, Functions, Consequences, adopts a primarily pharmacological perspective and aims to elucidate the largely unexplored and poorly understood non-canonical G protein-dependent signaling pathways. RTG 2381, cGMP: From Bedside to Bench, investigates cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP)-dependent processes and their physiological and pathological roles.

RTG 2816 co-spoesperson Ellen Reisinger with the winners of the poster prizes.
